special canvas

Starting from the base of the work “La Piedad”, I thought of making a canvas in special reproduction, for a stair climb and that would be extra long and give another aspect to this room.

I focused on this area where the hands appear. Once the canvas was mounted on the frame, I made an intervention with oil paints, accentuating lights and shadows, I also drew the lines of the unfinished drawing with charcoal and added some texture by splashing with gold paint.
